The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
DODDS, Maureen Daisy
28 December 1939,
formerly of Mt Duneed.
Passed away peacefully at Balmoral Grove. Aged 84.
Much loved wife of Alan (dec) for 49 years.
Dearly loved and cherished mum of Carolyn, Charles, Adrienne and Ann-Maree.
Loved mother in law of Darren, Tim and Nikki.
Loved and adored Gran to all of her 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
As we sit here softly crying, because our hearts are torn in two, we only need to look around us to work out what to do, because then we see our family, that you had to leave behind, the special bond and love we share is attributed to you.
We will put our arms around each other and grieve for what we’ve lost, but remind each other gently of everything we had, a special Mum and Granny that in life was just the best and remember all the special times as we let you have your rest.
Good night Gran, we will put the blind down and touch the touch light three times.
