DIRNBAUER, Mathilda

Our beautiful, sweet and loving Mother Mathilda passed away on Sunday evening May 25, 2025.

She was a loving and devoted wife to Josef (dec), an adored, beloved and cherished Mother to Anita and Mark, Mother-in-law to Nicole, and a doting and loving Oma to Jamie, Elise and Anika.

Mum you were the quiet achiever, my beautiful Mother and my best friend, always self-sacrificing so those you loved shone brightly. Always a warm smile and a wonderful sense of humour. You were the most loving, kindest, generous person. A tender, gentle and sometimes vulnerable soul, yet the most courageous, strongest and determined person I have ever known. A fierce loyal protector of those you loved - My inspiration. You lived a life of seeing without judgement, advising without telling, supporting without smothering and loving without expectation. You lived your life with integrity, without regrets or fear and loved completely without limits. For these and a million other reasons I am honoured, proud and blessed to be my Mothers daughter. I miss you more than words could ever express, my heart is broken and my life less full. I love you Mum.

Mum the loss we all feel is immense, overwhelming and will leave a hole that will never be filled. You were our family’s quiet strength, always present when needed but happy to let others shine. Loving, caring and a fierce loyal defender of family and friends. The values, love and understanding you raised Anita and I with made us the people we are today and it is those values both Nicole and I have passed on to your three beautiful granddaughters Jamie, Elise and Anika who love and miss you dearly. You were always there to guide, teach, protect, nourish and care for all of us unconditionally. You were the true essence of a Mum. Love always and forever, your son Mark.
