The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
DILLON, Ian John. Dear Dad, the moment that you left us our hearts were split in two. One side was filled with memories, the other side died with you. I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep, and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. Remembering you is easy, we do it every day, but missing you is a heartache that never goes away. We hold you tightly within our hearts and there you will stay, you see life will go on without you but it will never be the same. Thank you for all your years filled with unconditional love and strength. Until we meet again, your loving daughter Leesa, son-in-law Aaron and 'little beauty' Charlotte.
