Choosing appropriate attire for a "no black attire" funeral
Explore modern approach to funeral attire. Celebrate life with bright colors and personalised styles. Why 'no black attire' is the new way to honours loved ones
Our condolences and sympathy to Jo, and Bill’s children Erin, Rohan, Warren, Russell and their families, and the wider family, many friends and industry colleagues of the late Bill Davis.
Bill was a respected Trade Unionist and a highly regarded activist and official of the Plumbers Union in the turbulent years from the 1970s to the 1990s. He was a man who supported Trade Unionism to the end, and was greatly appreciated as an advisor and friend by so many in the Building and Construction industry. Bill came out of the fire sprinkler sector as a rank & file activist and he never lost that common touch. Nor the humility and good humour that was so much part of his character.
The last few years of Bill’s life were marred by illness, but with the loving support of Jo and his family, Bill remained in control of his life till the end, in the calm, determined way he had lived his life.
May he Rest In Peace and be fondly remembered by all those who knew him.
