God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So he put His arms around you And whispered, come with me. With tearful eyes we watched you And saw you pass away And although we really loved you We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
To my darling Peter, You gave me 58 wonderful years of marriage. Death cannot part us nor distance divide, Each day of my life you will walk by my side. Look after him Lord in your garden of rest, Love him as I did, he's one of the best.
Peter, you will walk with me and guide me until we meet again. Your loving wife Lena.
Rest in Peace
