The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
He cheered the Saints through highs and lows,
With every game, his passion showed.
A cold beer in hand, a story to tell,
A heart full of kindness we knew so well.
He read the words, from A to Z,
A curious mind, forever well-read.
He served with love, he gave with grace,
A helping hand in every place.
Irish tunes still hum along,
His laughter echoes like a song.
Through tales and time with those he loved,
His spirit shines in stars above.
A life well-lived, a man so true,
Grandpa and Great Grandpa—we will always miss you.
Your Granddaughter Kate & husband Steve,
Great Grandsons Leo, Isaac, and Felix.
Your Grandson John & partner Lauren,
Great Grandsons Rupert and Arthur.
