June passed away peacefully at the Queen Victoria Nursing Home, Lindisfarne on 11th May 2023.
Much loved wife of the late Alan Cripps. Loved daughter of the late Oscar and Cora Hansen of Nubeena, sister of Geoffrey Hansen. June was a wonderful and much loved mother to David, Robert and Andrew and her daughter-in-laws, Kathy, Lyn and Lisa, and June’s grandchildren, Tristan, Richard, Justin, Duncan, Tom and Meg, plus her two great-grandchildren Harry and Lucy who will all deeply mourn their loss.
Our whole family would like to express our deepest thanks and gratitude for the compassion and empathy shown by the complete QV staff and Dr Emma Foster.
June didn’t waste many moments in her 92 years, and lived a very active and full life, whether it was through her Golf, Tennis, Water Skiing interests or life in general, the one constant was the lifelong friendships made which lasted many decades.
It was Mum’s wish that no service be held, so we shall honour those wishes.
