COOPER,Reverend FatherEdward (Ted) SDBThe Salesians of Don Bosco of the Australia-Pacific Province mark the passing to the Lord of Reverend Father Ted Cooper SDB on Monday September 9, 2013. Father Cooper was born at Moonee Ponds, Victoria on January 10, 1926, and was professed as a Salesian in 1945. From 1955 to 1978 Father Ted taught in and was Principal in a number of Salesian schools. He then spent ten years ministering in Aboriginal and parish communities in the Northern Territory. His latter years were spent ministering in parishes in Hobart, Bairnsdale and Sydney. He died, after a short battle with cancer, at John Paul Village, Engadine, NSW.A Funeral Mass for the repose of the soul of FATHER TED COOPER SDB will be held in the Shrine of St John Bosco Church, Waratah Street, Engadine, NSW, on Monday September 16, 2013 commencing at 11.00am.A Requiem Mass will then be celebrated in the College Chapel at Salesian College, 'Rupertswood', Sunbury, Victoria, on Wednesday September 18, 2013 commencing at 2.00pm.The Funeral rites and burial will follow the Mass immediately in the Salesian Cemetery at Sunbury, VictoriaSYDNEY 9519 5344www.wnbull.com.a
