COOK (Thorburn). - Joy. 3/2/1923 - 13/6/2003 Formerly of Toora. Dearly loved and loving wife of Jim (dec.), loving and treasured mother of Robert, Coral, Janette and Heather, mother-in-law of Peter and Joan, devoted Nana to eight grandchildren and Great Nan to seven great grandchildren. Mum and Dad reunited in each other's arms. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at McDonald Wing, Maffra for their TLC to Mum. Dad was so true when he told us over and over again we "had the best Mum in the world". Your love, kindness, thoughtfulness and support were shared with many, but I was so privileged you were my Mum and I will always love you. Our sadness is eased by knowing how happy you will be to be back with Dad. Love - Heather. Nana, you were always so loving, encouraging with a beautiful smile. Love always - Sam and Jack. A wonderful person so loving and kind, what beautiful memories youhave left behind. A happy smile and a heart of gold, what beautiful memories we have to hold.
