The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
CONSTANTI, Sam. Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind. Uncle Sam, you leave us with a lifetime of beautiful memories. Your unique laugh. Your sense of humour. The way you said our names, adding an extra lyrical syllable in the middle. Always the life of the party, your big personality was only exceeded by your even bigger heart. You were filled with so much love and kindness. You lit up the room whenever you entered, and we know that you are now lighting up the room for Papou and Billy. We will always love you. You remain in our hearts forever. Marie and Andrew xx
