Resting Peacefully with Pat
Dad, I will miss your daily phone calls at the most ‘convenient’ times and your daily requests, especially taking care of the garden. I loved our visits at Opal and the giggles we had with the caring and friendly staff. Sale will miss their greatest historian and the stories you shared with all of us. Serrin and I will take care of RF. I only hope I can remember as much as you have throughout life.
Forever in my heart, your daughter Sue.
Papa-san, words cannot express how much I will miss you, your humour and our weekly letters we wrote to each other. I am honoured to have had you as my Grandfather.
You have left behind a legacy that continues to live through memories, sayings, drawings, small moments and dispositions that Mum and I have inherited. You were a true storyteller and I’m pleased you are with Dad and Nan now sharing stories together. I love you so much, my heart hurts without you.
Serrin-san.
