CONROY, Claire Mary

On May 3, 2021, our dear sister Claire passed away quietly after a long illness. Claire was the second daughter of Eugenie and John Conroy, and the sister of Frances and Jeanette.

Claire was a constant in the lives of many including her two sisters. Claire provided companionship, and was a confidante, mentor and best friend. Her methodical and intellectual approach to everything that she did was admired and in keeping with the beliefs and values that she held about life, her work, friends and family. Claire's love of nature, creativity and self-reliance will be greatly missed.

Frances and Jeanette extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr Tony Michele, the extraordinary staff in the Oncology Suite at Kimberley House, the supportive Palliative Home Care nurses, the very kind staff and volunteers at Mary Potter Hospice, and Claire's long term GP Dr Chris Monaghan.

A private memorial was held on May 10, 2021, followed by cremation in keeping with Claire's wishes.

Friends are asked to celebrate Claire's life in their own way.

In memory of Claire, a donation to a breast cancer research organisation would be appreciated.
