Riposa In Pace
Much loved and cherished
Wife of Giovanni
I knew the time was coming,
when I would have to say good-bye.
My heart is filled with sadness,
but memories will never die.
Rest peacefully Maria,
in some place green, in some place nice,
some place that you call paradise.
Dearly loved and respected
Mother and Mother-in-law of
Ada and Rocco
Cosimo and Danielle
and Renato
With tears we saw you suffer,
we watched you fade away.
Our hearts were slowly breaking,
as you fought so hard to stay.
You did not want to leave us,
but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
Adored and cherished Nonna of
Daniel, Christine,
Alisa, and Emilia
You had a smile for everyone,
you have a heart of gold.
You left behind the memories,
that we will always hold.
