CHRISTIE. - Cyril Raymond (Ray) of Glenroy. Beloved son of Ada and Arthur (both dec.), late of Wangaratta. Ray died peacefully on Sept. 8, 2005, after struggling for twelve days with pneumonia. He'd lived eighty-nine great years. As a Commando in WW2, a hard working Storeman, a Bulldog supporter and a loving husband to two wives (both of whom pre-deceased him), his spirit was that of a true Australian. His death leaves a big gap in the lives ofhis sisters and brother, Dulcie, Marj and Max; his sister- in-law Joan; and his nieces, Chris and Pen. It's never goodbye, Ray - it's "see you later" Funeral arrangements will be announced early next week in the Herald Sun.
