With tears I saw you suffer, I watched you fade away,

my heart was slowly breaking as you fought to stay with us

Your loving daughter Carmel

Almost 58 years ago you invited me into your home

and I am so grateful to you for eventually allowing me to marry your daughter.

During the years that followed there were times as a young family we

needed your support in raising our children

and it was given unconditionally.

You always treated me as you would a son .

I will miss you Mum Love Peter

Nana, you were so loved.

I will forever treasure our times together

and will always have such wonderful memories of you.

I am so grateful for how much time we had together.

I will miss you so much

Nana, you have been in my life for such a long time.

Thank you for the memories. During the final hours before you left us,

it was wonderful for one last time for you to see my children,

your Great Grandchildren Kristy, Alana and Harry

and for you to know my wife Sue.

Lina's care and well being during the past five years

has been attended to by many. The Staff at Oaklands Lodge Residental Care

have been wonderful, we as a family thank them all.

To any others who showed love and care to Lina

in her passage through life, the family thank you.
