To my Dearest Nonna, Your life was never easy to say, always the biggest challenges would come your way. You never complained about anything to the day you went away. Growing up with you has bought me a long way. But no one I know had the fight and passion you had for your family; that s all you cared about and worked so hard for. I am so privileged to have had the chance to live, work, laugh and support our stubbornness to the day. Many meals shared, many words of wisdom and life s experiences you shared with me. I am going to miss you every minute of the day. I always knew sooner or later this day would come. You always told me about loss and how you must go on, now I know how it really feels to lose the toughest women in my life. All I can say; is that at least we got to share these forever cherished memories. I grew older and started a family but never moved away, I still manage to live next door; even closer to say. Even my children were blessed to have shared some of these memories too. Nonna, life is never going to be the same without you, and those many lunches are never going to be the same either. A chapter finished for you and I, and I hope I can be nearly as strong as you. Your will to live was what kept you here, but that tired body couldn t take it anymore. Rest in Peace Nonna, until we meet again. Love always your one and only Grandson Antonio (Tony), Stacy, Cherylynna, Santino and baby on the way xoxoxox Dearest Mum, You have helped us grow and become the people we are today.
