The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
CAMPBELL. - Anthony David. 14.10.1941 - 27.11.2010 Tony, you enjoyed your own company. You really were more approachable than you seemed to be at first sight. You liked to be of help. You were faithful to your duties. You were proud to look after our graves. You raised the flags for us. You minimised your own needs. If people did intrude on your work or personal space, you would make empathic down ward gestures with your outstretched index finger. You kept abreast of the news. Particularly of current disasters. You had an affection for cats. You had a devotion for St. Mary MacKillop, perhaps conscious of her Scottish background. You were with us for more than 20 years. At the beginning of 2009 you were happy to move to Reservoir Gardens. May you rest in peace - Your Corpus Christi Community.
