Dad Your hands were strong but gentle, Your heart is as big as you, The love for your four children we always knew. You showed us strength and courage and your word was sure and true, Your gentleness and kindness always did shine through. A loyal and loving father, we all respected you. Your life was very simple, your example was first rate. A better, loving father the Lord could not create. You're very, very special, we're glad we told you that. So proud to be your children, there is no doubting that. Whilst our hearts are heavy, your workdown here is done. So go gently loving father to our dearest Mum. Your love for her divine, once more you will be together - it's been a long, long time. We love you Dad We love you to the end of time - Your four proud sons Steven, Richard, Robert and Paul and daughters-in-law Sue, Diane, Bessie and Chrisy. Grandad We will miss your toasted sandwiches and your chocolate treats, but most of all dear Grandad we will miss sitting on your knee. Your cuddles and your kisses and the smiles you shared with us, your gentleness and patience, the love you gave to us. You are so very, very selfless, kind and nice are you, It's no wonder Grandad, we all love you. You were always glad to see us, It's so hard to say goodbye, We are sorry dear Grandad, we think we're going to cry. We know that you will be watching us from somewhere way up high, You will give us strength and courage throughout our daily lives.
