BUCHANAN (NEE BANKS), Lola Joy "Joy"

Passed away peacefully in her 93rd year. Joy was the fourth child of Thomas and Bessie Banks, youngest sister of Colin, Valerie and Noel (all dec), half sister of Bob, Gordon (both dec), Harry and Irene. Beloved wife of Albert Desmond (Joe) (dec). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Garry and Jenny, Leslie and Beverley, Gaeleen and Danny, Carol and Bruce (dec). Adored Nan of Scott, Paul (dec) and Dielle, Nicolle, Danielle and Justin, Candice and Elliese, and Nanny Joy to 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Special thank you to Regis, Eastern Shore for the love and care given to Joy and the compassion shown to her family. Our darling mother left this life as she had lived it; with tenacity, grace and dignity.

Missed by all, loved forever.
