Aged 74 years
Much loved Husband of Jane, Father and Father-in-law of Catherine and Richard, David and Rebecca, and Michael and Kylee. The very proud Grandad of Hannah, Alice, Lily, Rachel, Emily and Hudson. A Son, Brother, Brother-in-law, Nephew, Uncle and Cousin. A teacher and a friend. He loved his Family, maths, economics, history, science, Vikings and the sea.
Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at home on March 19th, 2020.
Thank you to everyone who cared for Viv in recent months, particularly the staff of Ward 1C at St Vincent’s Northside, Dr Steven Lane and Dr Greg Smith.
A Celebration of Viv’s Life will be held at a later date, this is what he would have wanted.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to either the Leukaemia Foundation or to the Gordon and Jessie Gilmour Leukaemia Research Laboratory at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research.
