The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
To Our Dearest Nana,
Such a privilege and blessing to have been in your presence and to be embraced by your never ending & limitless love. Grief is the price we pay, and our tears speak only of the calibre of your dedication, apprise and love for all of your 7 grandchildren. Thank you for making us feel valued, motivating us to work harder, and most importantly to be kind and good people. We hope you’re causing trouble up there telling everyone to put their jackets on, to stay for tea, and bombarding them with the latest idea for a name (that you think is lovely but makes us all cringe) for your first great grandchild that’s coming.
We love you, appreciate you, and proud to call you our nan, with all our love & admiration
Tyler Humphris, Delaney & Mitchell Cronin, Broedyn & Sean.
