BROWN. - Mark Stephen JP (67274) Passed away Dec. 7, 2011 The Victorian Branch is deeply saddened on the sudden loss of Mark. Following service in the Army (Regular and Reserve) from 1970 to 1993, retiring with the rank of Warrant Officer Class One, Mark joined the RSL and has served as President, Vice President and on Committee of the Wodonga Sub-Branch. He has been their Pensions & Welfare Officer since 1993, along with being a volunteer Case Officer for the Hume Veterans' Information Centre. He joined the State Advisory Council in 2003 and State Executive in 2006, and was the current Chairman of the State Member Services Committee and a member of the Rules Committee. Mark was awarded Life Membership in June 2008 and will long be remembered as a hardworking man with a great sense of humour who was committed to helping veterans. The State President, current and former colleagues on the State Executive and Staff at ANZAC House extend their deepest sympathy to Christine and their family on the loss of a fine Australian, a great RSL man and true veteran.
