BROOKS. - Barbara. Formerly of Bawley Point, NSW and Bacchus Marsh. Passed away at The McKellar Centre, Geelong on July 13, 2009. Aged 71 years Much loved wife of Charles. Adored Mum of Margaret and Annette. A pure white eagle came from above, And took away my one true love. To a place she'll hear the Angels sing, And take away pain and suffering. With steadfast love and tender care, A wife, a mother, she was always there. A poet, artist, one with creative flair, Through life she had so much to bear. At last at peace and painless rest, Those who knew her were surely blessed. Even now the insidious disease that struck her down. Has not dislodged her Queenlike Crown. - Charles xxx.
