Retired R.A.N.
BRITT, Douglas Harry “Doug”
Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday April 11, 2020.
Aged 83 years.
If I could write a story,
it would be the greatest told,
of a sailor, husband, father and papa who had a heart of gold.
I could write a million pages but would still be unable to say,
just how much I’ll miss you every single day.
Thanks for 45 years of memories.
Your loving wife Gwyneth.
Good, Better, Best,
actually JAHtastique pillar of the community,
Left us here to be with the Most High.

Love you Dad,

Look sharp! That hand is you, Old Sailor.
And you’ll be sailing out on Heavenly Seas.
So may the wind be ever at your back,
Fair weather. And God speed!
