Senior Player No. 555 Newtown & Glenorchy Past Players & Officials Association deeply regret the passing of a devoted volunteer and unique character. Known as "Slugger" to most, he was a Committeeman and Life Member 1980 - 2010. 2011 - 2020 Member of the Association’s Hall of Fame Committee. 1957 represented Tasmania v. Hawthorn and 1958 TANFL v. NWFU. He played 166 club games with Player Life Membership in 1964. The loss of a dear friend of our Association who was a great stalwart and legend in his own right. Our sincere sympathy is extended to his family.
