BOWDEN, Richard George

The Acting Chief Officer, State Fire Commission and members of the Tasmania Fire Service are saddened by the passing of respected past State Fire Commission member and current FMAC member Richard Bowden. Our deepest sympathy to Richard’s family and friends.

For over 15 years Richard was the Local Government Association of Tasmania representative on the State Fire Commission and for the last 10 years was a member of the Midlands Fire Management Area Committee.

Ritchie’s advice was always appreciated and his support for the Tasmania Fire Service was staunch. He will be long remembered.
