The City of Marion Mayor, Elected Members, CEO and staff are saddened by the recent death of former Councillor Carol Bouwens, aged 83.

A long-time City of Marion resident, Ms Bouwens served on Council from 1997 to 2014. She was Deputy Mayor in 2009 and 2011.

Ms Bouwens was a volunteer for the Red Cross and Abbeyfield House and involved in many community groups, including Dover Gardens Kennel and Obedience Club.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
