BOGUSZ Reverend Michael Ordained a priest at St Patrick’s Cathedral, East Melbourne on 20 August 1977. After serving as Assistant Priest at Camberwell Parish, he served the Parishes of Moonee Ponds (1978), Keilor East (1980), Chaplain to St Vincent’s Hospital and Assistant Priest at St Patrick’s Cathedral (1981), Greensborough Parish (1983), Albion Parish (1984) and Geelong East Parish (1988). Fr Michael was then priest-in-residence at St Patrick’s Cathedral and afterwards residing at George Maher House. He was appointed Pastor Emeritus on 18 December 2014. He passed away at Justin Villa on Saturday 27 August 2022, aged 73 years. The Archdiocese is most grateful for his service to the Church and will be remembered as a kind, caring and friendly pastor.
