BERTRAM. - Howard Franklin (Herbie), B.E.M. Passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday Aug. 28, 2001, aged 76. Most dearly loved husband for 53 years of Valna. Treasured Dad and mate of Ian and Vivian, Lynette, Vicki and George, Pam and Peter and Nola and Steve. Much loved Pop of Rebecca, Fiona and Sean, Nicole and Scott, Jayde and Ethan and Leigh and Melissa. Youngest son of David and Alice Bertram (both dec.). Brother of Dave, Ron (dec.), Ken (dec.), Heather (Rhodes, dec.), Gwen (Keech) and Dot (Peters, dec.). Another link has broken My beloved husband of 53 years, how sad it was to see you pass. I will always treasure the most wonderful and fond memories of the times that we had together. I will miss you most dearly To Dad, you have always been there for us all. Whenever there was a small errand to be run you would always put your hand up first. We have so many good memories of you that will last forever. - Lynette. My Dad, my hero, you inspired and encouraged me all my life and you were always so proud of my achievements. The Bertram family Christmas parties will never be the same without you. - Vicki and George. My wonderful and caring Dad, we watched you peacefully go to sleep and now you have no pain. Our memories we will keep in a special place in our hearts. We love you and will always miss you heaps. - Pam, Peter, Jayde and Ethan. To the best Papa in the world, how I looked up to you and respected you through our life time together. I have been honored that every day I was blessed with such a warm, car ing, loving and devoted father as you. You were always there for me no matter what the situation or time was. I couldn't have asked for more. May you sleep so peacefully now and the pain that you wore in your eyes has fully dispersed. I love you then andI always will. - Nola and Steve.
