BAYLEY. _ Anthony John `Tony' (Bill Bayley) Retired Superintendent MFB 1954 - 1985 London Fire Brigade 1950-1954 Peacefully in Melbourne on Feb. 8, 2015 Aged 84 years Pa, we will miss you _ Lindy, Keith and Luke. I haven't forgotten the thrill of that first fire, Brass helmets, pumps and ladders, bells ringing and lights flashing. Being lost in a smoke filled basement; the roar of those walls collapsing. Heat scorching my ears, After the fire those mess room chats. I don't walk as fast nor stand as straight as you, My hair may be thin and grey, Eyes and ears dimmed; But I know that I will never forget that we PAID THE PRICE, EARNED THE RIGHT TO PROCLAIM FIERCELY PROUDLY TO ALL - I AM A RETIRED FIREFIGHTER. (Excerpts from "I'll never Forget" by Bill Bayley). Privately Cremated at Ballarat on Feb. 12, 2015. Pat Cashin Funerals (03) 5333-3911
