Born in Caulonia, R.C., Italy on May 28, 1934. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 17, 2019. Aged 85 years. Affectionate and devoted husband of Teresa. Respected and adored father and father-in-law of Tony and Adriana, Maria and Paolo Bottin, Robert and Karen, Eleonor and David Borghetto. Cherished and precious Nonno of Stefania, Emily, Joseph, Helena, Giorgia, Giordana, Cristian and their partners. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Carmela and Giuseppe (deceased), Vincenzo (deceased) and Melita, Ilario (deceased) and Teresa, Santina, Francesco and family. Caro Giuseppe, You were the love of my life. Thank you for loving me unconditionally for the last 59 years. No matter what challenges life presented us you stood by me. I love you eternaly with all my heart and soul. Until we meet again, Your loving wife Teresa. To our much cherished and loving Papa & Nonno, Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to the backbone of our family. We were truly blessed to have you as our father & Nonno. A true gentleman with a heart of gold, immense warmth and an infectious smile; you remained selfless until the very end. You cherished the company of your loved ones and truly moved all those fortunate enough to have ever been in your presence. Your greatest pleasure in life was being surrounded by your children and grandchildren and we will always remember how your face lit up each time we were together. Even at your peaceful passing it was a true blessing that we were all there with you, just as you would have wanted. Thank you for instilling compassion, patience and determination in all of us. Basta ricordarmi il tuo fischio, quando facevi sempre il giardinaggio e c'insegnavi a mangiare il luppino e giocare a carte! M'eri Zio ma ricordo con vero affetto che tu mi facesti anche da 'Padre' e 'Nonno'. Addio Zio Peppe mi mancherai tantissimo! Mi rasserena un po ricordarmi di esserci stata nel momento in cui ci hai lasciato. Era proprio come avresti voluto tu: Tutta la famiglia assieme con te in compagnia. Tua nipote, Maristella Bava.
