Loving brother of Roger, and brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

An amazing Husband,

so loving, patient, kind, generous and selfless. Despite your suffering you never complained and continued to enjoy life. You were the light in our lives and brought love

and laughter to us

every day. You will be sorely missed by us all.

I have been truly blessed to have had you as the most loving husband I could have asked for.

To the greatest man we’ve ever known, our Father and hero. It is an absolute honour and privilege to be able to call you Dad. You weren’t just our Dad, but our guide, mentor, best friend and hero.

The world has lost a precious gem. You always had so much love to give, the comedian that

made us laugh, and

your endless stories.

Our hearts are aching so much but we will take your humility, wisdom, compassion, unending kindness, generosity and spirit to guide us through life. There will never be enough words to thank you for the beautiful life you gave us.

“God gives his hardest battles to his toughest soldiers.” You were a brave, courageous solider and it’s now time for you to rest your weary wings knowing the bat signal will shine bright in our hearts and protect and guide us always.

We love you always and forever, to infinity and beyond all our love Cindy, Bruce, Karina and Jason.

There’s a special bond between a Poppy and his granddaughters, and we had the privilege to call you our Poppy.

Thank you for being such an incredible role model in our lives, for always being there for us in the good times and the bad. Your guidance, patience and love were a blessing to us all. We will always cherish the times we spent together and the memories we made.

Your hugs and laughter are something we will never forget.

There will never be a day where we don’t think about you, our forever guardian angel.

The best Poppy anyone could ask for, may you find eternal peace.
