Ron’s commitment to the great Australian game was unmatched; his influence upon it equally so.

At Carlton, as Captain and Coach, Ron revived a football club’s flagging fortunes – and Carlton under his watch became a competition powerhouse.

We convey our deepest sympathies to Cherryl and all members of the Barassi family on their profound loss of a giant of a man.
