Passed away in the care of his loving family. Loving and cherished husband to Katerina for 55 years. Beloved father, father-in-law and Pappous of George, Demetra, Katerina and Ieronimos, Eleni and Athinodoros; Angelo, Rachel, Charlie and Annie; and Yiannis, Maria, Athinodoros and Drossos. Loved son of Georgios and Evangelia (both dec). Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Phokion and Panayiota, Artemis and Kostas, Androulla and Georgos, Christoforos and Anna, Nikki and Tasso and Charalambos and Despina. Adored uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Friend and companion to many, always willing to lend a hand and share a story. Athas is remembered as a generous family man, of strong character and a tender heart. Forever in our thoughts, our philosopher and poet.
