Graham Arthur
Hawthorn Football Club’s Board of Directors, management, staff and players are deeply saddened by the passing of Graham Arthur.
Graham epitomised the spirit of Hawthorn and had a profound impact on many people at the club.
Hawthorn’s inaugural Premiership Captain. Coach between 1964-1965. Awarded Life Membership of the club, Legend status in Hawthorn’s Hall of Fame and Captain of Hawthorn’s Team of the Century. Graham is also a member of the AFL Hall of Fame and will be remembered for his cheerfulness and dedication to all things brown and gold.
Our sincerest condolences to Graham’s wife Mary, daughters Camille, Marise, Suzanne, Elizabeth, Jenny, Carolyn and their extended family and friends.
Graham was a Hawthorn person through and through and he will always live on within our club.
