GALE, Allen Ewart

Peacefully passed away on 18 June 2020 at Calvary Adelaide Hospital, aged 87 years. Dearly beloved husband of Shirley-Anne for over 62 years, and beloved father and father-in-law of Anne and Chris, Ian and Halina, Susan and David. Loving grandfather of Alexandra and Nick, Simon and Carina, Rachael and James, and Ben, and cherished great-grandfather of Evelyn and Charlotte. Beloved brother-in law of Audrey and Peter, close family friend of Judy, and fond uncle to his niece and nephews. A caring physician to his many patients. Grateful thanks to all the staff at Calvary Adelaide that attended Allen and special thanks to Dr Chen Peh, Professor Ian Spark and Associate Professor Matt Hooper, and The Reverend Canon Jenny Wilson. Allen now in God’s care, and forever in our hearts. A private family funeral will be held at St Peter’s Cathedral.
