ABBOTT (nee Bryan). _ Joyce Irene Eldest sister of June and Joan. We extend our love and sympathy to Ivan, Maree, Yvonne and their families from both our families. Joyce was the `force' behind the Bryan sisters. We began in the early 50s as a singing trio, gaining experience and confidence. We expanded to a quartet when Pat Griffen (now dec.) joined us. We enjoyed great success appearing on TV, radio, concerts and doing many commercials etc. throughout the 50s, under the guidance and management of the late Evie Hayes.
