Charles Abbott is survived by his children Sybil, Robert, James, William and six grandchildren. He made a substantial contribution during his life, including as a partner at law firm Blake & Riggall (Ashurst), to education with endowment of a scholarship to Trinity College, as an AFL footballer for Hawthorn and as President of Australian polo - he was a true ‘All Rounder’.
