The Executive Director of Township Leasing, Pennie Talbot, and colleagues of the Office of Township Leasing extend their sincere condolences to the Wurramarrba family and the families of Groote Eylandt on the sad passing of Mr T Wurramarrba.

The former Chairman of the Anindilyakwa Land Council will always be remembered as a strong advocate for social and economic development and creating future opportunities for his people and community.

I thank him for his guidance on the partnership through the Groote Eylandt Township Lease.

He will be greatly missed.
