It is 12 months since we were parted, and I miss you terribly -

I miss your love and affection, I miss your wisdom and your guidance,

I miss our friendship and companionship, and I miss our unwavering trust and loyalty for each other.

It is said that time heals, but not for me - for me, it just gets harder -

but I have our wonderful memories from 19 glorious years together,

which keeps me positive and focused, as I know you would want me to be.

And I will never, ever let you be forgotten.
