The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Viegas, Osborn
We wish that we could see you Dad,
For just a little while.
We wish that we could hug you,
Just to see your smile.
But wishing gets us nowhere,
And longing is in vain.
So we will hold you in our hearts,
Until we meet again.
Dearest Dad/Papa, We can’t believe it’s been a year since you were taken from us so unexpectedly. Not a day goes by where you’re not in our thoughts. We all miss you so much, it’s just not the same without you.
Please continue to watch over us all,
Especially your Grand Daughter Evie.
Love from Claire, Kathryn, Louise, Kenneth, Valanti & Evdoxia xx .
