The golfing community is in mourning over the recent loss of Stewart Cox.
Stewart was President of Golf NT from 2010-2017.
Stewart was a positive, intelligent and passionate contributor to golf in the Northern Territory and across Australia.
He was a great person to work with and he had a wonderful vision for the future of golf and other sports he was involved with.
He did an incredible job for golf in The NT he solidified the structure of golf, increased opportunities for elite players and built a strong relationship with government.
He was instrumental in Golf NT becoming a full member of Golf Australia and his views carried much weight within our sport. Golf Australia extends our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to his family at this time.
Stewart was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed.
