Stewart's significant contribution to NT Hockey during the early Alawa hockey days to the new beaut Marrara hockey complex will be fondly remembered within the hockey community.

Life Member, President, AHA Executive Councillor, sponsor, competitive hockey player and for his outstanding achievements in hockey won the Administrator of the Year Award in 1988.

Stewart excelled as a valued team member encouraging everyone involved within the sport.
