SIMS. Lt. Percy James A.F.C. Born North-East Victoria, January 1895. Enlisted for W.W.1 Service, mid 1915 and served in Middle-east before transferring to the Australian Flying Corps. After basic and advanced training in England, posted to No.4 Squadron, A.F.C. in France in mid 1918. Successfully flew Camels and Snipes in action over France. KIA near Tournai, Belgium on October 29, 1918. during the "final push" of W.W. Still held close in memory by the descendants of his brother Arthur Victor Sims MM in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
