SHEEHAN, Barbara Isobel

Barbara Sheehan passed away 3rd May 2023, after a short illness at Rosebud Hospital. Mother of Terry Spottiswood , Mother - in - law of Brian Warner, Gran of Anthony Warner and Amrai Hahn, Nicholas Warner, Ashleigh and Mike Greco, Other Grandma of Iluca and Jude Greco.

Mum, you were always a great model of resilience, strength, hard work, courage and a quiet feminist.

I have always been impressed by your incredibly diverse skills, from Computer Science in your late 30s to droving cattle in your early 60s. You were truly remarkable to achieve all you did.

You made the best of every aspect of your life even when it didn’t go the way you wanted.

‘Other Grandma’, I’ll hold the treasured memory of Iluca giggling on your knee while being licked by Jazz and your delighted grin because your were surrounded by your favourites- your grand babies and your dogs. You’re forever in our hearts, Ashleigh, Mike, Iluca and Jude.

I think we all thought she would live forever. Gran was a tough, resilient, strong minded woman that inspired some and put the fear of god in others. We trust that her family and friends will find comfort in the many fond memories and our love for Gran which is still very much alive. She'll be in all our hearts for always and forever ❤️
