The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
So dearly missed you are, our darling son,
Time has passed by so quickly for some.
For us though, a daily struggle it has been,
Since we held you and your smile was last seen.
Patiently we do wait for Jehovah’s promise to come true,
To again in our arms, finally hold you.
Our precious boy, words can’t express the joy we will feel,
Alive again with us, it will just be so serial.
Wait and take one day at a time, we’ll continue to do,
And look forward to such happy times to spend forever with you.
