The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Dad
It's been one year since you have left us. So many dinners out and bbq's you have missed out on but your spirit has always been around. You have missed the birth of your first Great Grandson and my requirement of two more dogs, l know too many dish lickers. Not a day goes by when l don't have a thought about you but guess thats not hard as you are with me, and Dean is still waiting for those winning lotto numbers. I miss you Dad but all l can say on this first year is, But night after night, when the moon comes up, Gus the Firefly comes back to play.
Love you Dad
Kellie
