Mum, this year marks number eight
When you walked through those pearly gates.
We miss so many things you did with ease
Like dragging nets, and hooking fish in the open seas.
Remembering those family gatherings with your infamous prawn cakes.
Whipping up a child’s party you certainly were no fake.
Fly high our lovely one as you do
While we celebrate the infinite wonder of you.
Love and miss you
