The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
I found a picture of your smiling face and it brought back memories of the
first time I saw you.
I must have loved you then although I didn’t know it. You had on this lovely
pink shirt a head full of curls and those lovely blue eyes that always looked at me with so much love.
Our wonderful legacy of all our children and family and all our 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, you would be so proud of all of them.
Love comes just one time and last for a lifetime.
I know whatever I do, wherever I go, you are always with me.
I will love you always, forever in my heart Shirley.
