Margaret 'Marby' Eggins 1934 - 2017
Marby, we hope you love heaven and God is looking after you. We miss you and yearn to hear the love in your voice and the warmth of your hugs. You gave us life, you gave us love. We will all continue to try and be the selfless and loving human being that you were. Love Mary-Lou, Anne-Marie, Elizabeth, Damien, Madonna and Dominic.
My Mother By Margaret Eggins
I walked in your shadow But could not keep pace Many things spurred me onward Yours beauty and grace.
Your loving arms round me I felt so secure My childhood was happy No mother was truer.
You taught me the values Of life that I know In a home of true loving I continue to grow.
With wisdom unbounded You showed me the way To fulfilment and knowledge That I have today.
Looking back in my childhood There's something I see Your most beautiful face And your love for me.
No wonder I love you Your years have been spent In giving your all To us all with intent.
What have I to give you? I'm not clever or smart But you are most welcome To the love in my heart.
Though years have changes In one and another
Your beauty still shines out My own darling Mother.
